Hello! I am very excited for the 2015-2016 school year! We are going to do so many fun things this year and I can't wait to watch all of you learn and grow.
My name is Lisa Chisholm. I grew up in St. Louis and moved to Montgomery City in 2008 when I was hired for the ESP position. I was in ESP for 1 year and then moved to second grade. I taught second grade for 2 years and looped with my class to third grade! This is my fourth year in third grade.
I am married to my best friend, Steven, and we have 2 beautiful children! Tinley is 3 and Kade is 1.
Something not everyone knows about me is that I have a twin sister named Cara. We are fraternal so we look nothing alike and our personalities are exact opposites! She teaches fifth grade in St. Louis so we do share a love of kids and teaching.
My favorite thing to do when I have time is read a book or scrapbook my pictures. I also enjoy doing anything outside including camping, sitting by the fire, and riding the four wheeler through our trails. My favorite subject in school was always math but I really enjoy teaching math and reading! It is fun to see where students start the year and look at the progress they have made by the end of the year.
I can't wait to spend the year with you! We will make lots of memories and learn many new things! Please feel free to come to me for any assistance. I want to help make this a great year!
Love,
Mrs. Chisholm
